Reel to Real Productions uses high quality 3-CCD camcorders to capture your events in brilliant color and outstanding picture detail. This technology also allows us to get better footage even in low light situations. We use high quality UHF wireless microphones to capture that "up close" sound because you'll want to remember everything you said when you play back your video. We use state of the art Non-Linear Editing and DVD Authoring software (Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro) to professionally produce your video on DVD.

Reel to Real Productions is owned and operated by Cael and Deana Kuhlman. We believe that working as a husband and wife team offers several advantages for our clients. One advantage is a balanced perspective. We work well together because we coordinate our shots and plan ahead of time how we want to shoot an event. We each have our own style of camera work and we always use 3 cameras at events regardless of which package you choose. Therefore, the final edited video contains the best footage from 3 angles, adding variety and depth. Having 3 cameras has other advantages besides added perspective. It gives you a backup - another view of the action in the event that someone steps in front of the camera, or something else goes wrong. While other companies have a multiple-camera package, it is typically a luxury - for us, it's a standard.

Another advantage of our husband and wife team is the combined skills that go into our work. Cael specializes in video production: camera work, video editing and DVD authoring. In addition to her camera work and editing, Deana is also a graphic designer. This specialization makes us stand out from the competition, because we aren't using pre-designed templates; trying to make your wedding fit a design we already have. Instead, each wedding is custom, with the menus, DVD label, jewel case, etc. all matching your wedding colors, graphics, and theme.
