No. 267 – Nadia and Carlos

Saturday was a special day as Nadia and Carlos tied the knot in front of their family and friends and we were there to capture it all! Our day started in the morning as we filmed each of them as they got ready. Despite having a huge bridal party, Nadia and Carlos were super organized and were right on time for their wedding at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sacramento. Following the “I Do’s” the newlyweds hopped in a horse-drawn carriage for their short trip to the Masonic Temple downtown. Their guests were treated to a photo booth, chocolate fountain, and a live band — the very talented Grupo Musical Valle de Santiago. The happy couple is jetting off to Jamaica for some R&R and we are fast at work putting together their wedding video. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony. Notice how Carlos makes sure to tell his mom how pretty Nadia looks as she is coming down the aisle. Too cute!

No. 266 – Isabel’s quinceanera

On Saturday we filmed Isabel’s quinceanera celebration at the gorgeous Sacramento Grand Ballroom. It was a nice change of pace from all of the weddings we’ve been shooting lately. We’ve shot a few quinceaneras in the past, but all paled in comparison to this one! Isabel and her mom put in countless hours preparing their Phantom of the Opera themed celebration. From the hand-signed masks that each guest received to the choreographed performance that Isabel and her court wowed the guests with, not a detail was missed. The highlight of the night was definitely Isabel’s Phantom of the Opera performance that was spectacular! Words won’t do it justice — you have to take a look:

No. 265 – Danielle and Adam

On Saturday we traveled to Smartsville, CA to shoot Danielle and Adam’s destination wedding at the gorgeous River Highlands Ranch. The temperatures may have soared well past 100 degrees, but that didn’t stop this happy couple from expressing their love for each other in front of their friends and family. Not a detail was overlooked for this rustic chic wedding, from the mason jars for glasses to the s’mores station after dark. The newlyweds are headed off to Bora Bora for their honeymoon, and hopefully some relief from this heat, and we are already at work putting together the video remembrance of their big day. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at their red hot ceremony:
