No. 302 – Sheriece and Reggie

Sheriece is a patient woman! Her fairy tale wedding to Reggie was supposed to happen on this same weekend last year, but Reggie’s obligation to a European basketball team forced them to put their plans on hold. After much anticipation, Sheriece and Reggie finally said their “I Do’s” on Saturday at Arden Hills Resort in a beautiful and very elegant wedding. The happy couple can now rest easy on their honeymoon while we set to work on putting together their wedding video. Here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony:

No. 301 – Gizella and Adrian

Yesterday we wrapped up another double-header wedding weekend with Gizella and Adrian’s Romanian wedding in Sacramento. We started our day shooting their intimate ceremony held at the Romanian Orthodox Church. Following the formalities, it was time to party as the newleyweds headed to Folsom’s Rotary Clubhouse for their reception. We didn’t stay all the way to the last dance, but before we left we did get to witness a “kidnapping” and some dancing on tables, so we can hardly imagine what happened after we left! We are so happy for this super nice couple and can’t wait for them to see their whole wedding video. That’s gonna take a while, considering ALL of the footage we shot, but in the meantime, here’s a quick recap of their day:

No. 300 – Shannon and Nick

Friday was a milestone day for Reel to Real — we shot our 300th wedding! We traveled to my hometown of Napa for Shannon and Nick’s wine country wedding at the beautiful Meritage Resort and Spa. The massive grounds at Meritage provided a gorgeous backdrop for Shannon and Nick’s ceremony. Kathy from Heartfelt Weddings did a wonderful job officiating their vineyard-side ceremony that featured a few tears and a few laughs. Following their “I Do’s,” guests were treated to an elegant reception inside Meritage’s Estate Cave. Thanks to Heather from Holliday Weddings, Shannon’s vision became a reality as the cave was transformed into a romantic space perfect for a wedding reception! We couldn’t have asked for a better day to celebrate No. 300! Here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony:

No. 299 — Jaimee and Jeremey

Yesterday we wrapped up our double-header weekend with Jaimee and Jeremey’s red-hot wedding at Granite Bay Golf Club. This couple definitely took their time getting to the aisle. Eleven years and a beautiful daughter later, they decided to make it official in front of friends and family in a ceremony that can only be described as a scorcher. The weather was such a factor for their ceremony that it was hard for Jaimee and Jeremey to keep their composure considering Jeremey was staring straight into the sun. And after they caught a glimpse of their melting groomsmen, the giggles ensued. Following their ceremony, the event was moved inside the Conservatory and guests were treated to some air-conditioning and a gorgeous reception that included vintage decor, much of which Jaimee made herself. So crafty! Here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony:

No. 298 – Samantha and Devan

On Friday we kicked off our double-header weekend with a scorcher at Grand Island Mansion. The temperatures may have soared past 100 degrees but that didn’t stop Samantha and Devan from declaring their love in front of their friends and family at Grand Island’s beautiful gazebo ceremony site. I always love the courage it takes to write and recite your own vows and this couple took on that challenge and mixed in some humor as well. Check out how they did:

We love getting kudos!

It always makes us feel like the work we are doing is so valuable when we get feedback from our clients. Here’s an email we got from a Mother of the Bride regarding the ceremony preview we posted on our blog of her daughter’s wedding. If she loves the sneak peek, wait til she sees the finished product!

No. 297 – Anna and Daniel

On Sunday we traveled to Pleasanton for Anna and Daniel’s elegant wedding at Ruby Hill Golf Club. Anna definitely had a vision for her wedding and it was wonderful to spend the day with her and see how it played out. From her dramatic entrance in a horse-drawn carriage to her focus on making sure her guests had a great experience, the day went off without a hitch. While Anna was enamored with the carriage, I personally couldn’t get enough of the couple’s cute dog who walked down the aisle in the most adorable doggy tuxedo. Following their ceremony which blended both of the couple’s religious traditions, guests were treated to an Espresso bar (serving coffee as well as Italian sodas), a photo booth, and an artist drawing caricatures. There were so many aspects of this wedding that were video-worthy and we can’t wait to put it all together for them! In the meantime, here’s a look at the highlights from their ceremony:
