No. 308 – Ngoc-Yen and Ethan

On Saturday we celebrated with Ngoc-Yen and Ethan as they wed at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacramento, CA. Not only did it take these two quite some time to finally make it to the altar, it also took some distance as they travelled from their home in Australia to get married in California near family members. Planning a wedding is no easy task and it is that much more difficult when you have to do it long distance! But you would never have known it because their day went off without a hitch! Following their ceremony they headed over to the Vizcaya for an elegant reception. This jet-setting duo is headed off to a relaxing honeymoon in the Bahamas before making the trek back to Australia to begin their new lives. Here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony:

No. 283 – Tess and Mike

On Saturday we kicked off our 11th wedding season with Tess and Mike’s beautiful wedding. Our day started with them at the Citizen Hotel where we got to capture all of the pre-wedding happenings. Tess headed out in a horse and carriage to our next destination, the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament for their ceremony. Following their I Do’s we walked over to Chops for their fun reception. The day went very smoothly for us thanks to the hard work put in by their coordinator, Kristy Dwyer of Wing Woman Wedding Day Coordination (916-761-8585). This super sweet couple was a pleasure to work with and we can’t wait to put the finishing touches on their video and give them something they’ll treasure forever. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony:

No. 262 – Agueda and Mario

The temperature outside may have soared to 108 in Sacramento yesterday, but we were cool as a cucumber shooting Agueda and Mario’s wedding. Our day started first thing in the morning at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Agueda may have been running a few minutes late to get ready at the church, but she was definitely worth the wait for Mario! She looked stunning in her gown and Mario didn’t look too shabby himself. Following the beautiful church service, everyone traveled to the Library Galleria for their afternoon reception. The couple played homage to their cultures by having a Chinese tea ceremony and a Mariachi band during dinner. After the formalities of the reception were finished, the guests enjoyed the music that DJ Rick Jenkins served up. He had that crowd rocking at 5:30 p.m. like only he can do! The party wrapped up at 8 p.m. and we were off to get some rest from our busy weekend, and of course, to get to work on putting together some memorable videos. In the meantime, here’s a look at their vows and rings to wet your appetite!

No. 256 – Brittne and Greg

Yesterday we filmed Brittne and Greg’s vintage-inspired wedding. Our day began at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacramento, CA for their ceremony, which also served as the location for Greg’s parents’ wedding years ago. Following their “I Do’s” the happy couple took a carriage ride to their reception at the Vizcaya. Brittne and her family definitely put a lot of work into this wedding judging by how spectacular the Vizcaya looked! Not a single detail was overlooked, from the candy bar to their Disney inspired cake table. The newlyweds danced on a cloud (of dry ice) for their first dance and didn’t stop dancing til the last dance. This group definitely knows how to party and we got plenty of outrageous open dancing coverage that they are sure to enjoy! Brittne and Greg are headed off to Italy and now we have our work cut out for ourself judging by how much footage we shot! In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony:
