New Short Form Videos Online
Completing all of our 2015 weddings by January has allowed me a little time off to work on some projects before we start up our 2016 wedding season at the end of this month. Having exhausted all of the re-decorating/home improvement projects that I could dream up (and Cael would allow!), I decided to focus my attention on updating our website a little bit with some fresh samples. No. 335 – Alysha and Justin

Setting: Orchard Creek’s Amphitheater provides such a gorgeous setting for a wedding. The sight of Alysha and Justin pouring their hearts out to one another in front of the the golf course was breathtaking!

Vendor shout-out: It’s always gonna be a great day when we get to work with Mackenzie and Chuck from Chuck Roberts Photography (www.chuckrobertsphoto.com). We tell this to them everytime we work with them, but they are the only photographer we have run across that uses a reflector for their outdoor photoshoots. 
It make the subject “pop” so much more and it makes such a difference in our video. It’s great working with such a knowledgable duo who are striving to get the exposure right in camera instead of relying on photography software after the fact! We also enjoyed working with DJ Mike Anderson of Creative Memories. He always makes sure to keep us in the loop and every time puts on such a fun party! He even brought with him a garter blaster for the groom to use while tossing the garter. How creative! Check him out at (www.creativememoriesdj.com).
No. 296 – Joana and Travis
On Saturday we headed to Lincoln to shoot Joana and Travis’ wedding held at Orchard Creek Lodge. Our day started off as Joana invited us to share in all the excitement as she got ready at a nearby hotel. Orchard Creek’s spacious grounds provided a beautiful backdrop for her ceremony. Not gonna lie – it was a little hot out there but Joana and Travis stayed cool as a cucumber as they professed their love for one another in front of family and friends. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a wonderful party thanks to a lot of effort that Joana put into making every little detail perfect for her guests. We were so happy to spend the day with this super sweet couple and can’t wait for them to see their finished video. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony:
No. 252 – Norena and Marvin
On Saturday we wrapped up our 2012 wedding season at Orchard Creek Lodge in Lincoln, CA. Despite rough weather for the past few weeks, blue skies were overhead as Norena and Marvin exchanged their vows in front of family and friends. This super sweet couple loves to laugh and their ceremony certainly reflected their humorous nature. Following the ceremony, guests were escorted inside to find a photobooth, candy bar, and lots of entertainment. Norena and Marvin surprised their guests with their “shadow” grand entrance and Marvin stunned Norena with his video he had made of her family that couldn’t make it to the wedding. Their wedding was such a nice one for us to end our season with, and we also got to end it with one of our favorite photographers — Mackenzie from Chuck Roberts Photography. Her expertise in setting up poses and working with lighting made for some stunning video! We are looking forward to putting together their finished wedding video, but in the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony:

In the shadows…
Recently we filmed a unique grand entrance thanks to the creativity of Dianne and Daniel and their DJ, Chris from Encore Entertainment. The entrance was very unexpected, it did a great job of conveying their “story,” and provided a very dramatic intro to their reception. Great job!
