No. 285 – Keity & Greg
Yesterday we did something we don’t do very often — wake up early! But it was definitely worth it because we got to be a part of Keity and Greg’s morning wedding at the Vizcaya. We began our day with Keity in the bridal suite as she and her girls enjoyed coffee and margaritas as they got beautified. Despite a rainy past week, the skies cleared for their big day and they were able to enjoy a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at their beautiful venue. Their afternoon reception featured lots of laughs and some of the best bridal party dancing that we’ve seen in a long while. This happy couple definitely had a lot of fun and are now headed up the mountain to a week of R&R in Lake Tahoe. Here’s a sneak peek at their ceremony:
No. 273 – Taryn and Mike
Yesterday we returned to the Vizcaya to shoot Taryn and Mike’s wedding. We’ve known Taryn for years and it was great to be a part of her big day. And wow, did she look stunning! She and her mom put a lot of hard work, and a little help from Etsy, in creating the decor and every detail to make the day spectacular. Even though they worked so closely on everything, Taryn’s mom was also able to keep some secrets from her daughter to make the day full of surprises. From the signs that lined 21st street welcoming everyone to the horse & carriage sparkler exit, Taryn was definitely shocked. Taryn also got a surprise in on Mike with the special mashed potatoes bar at dinner time. Yum! The newleyweds are headed to Maui for some R&R and we are already at work on their wedding video. No. 269 – Lorena and Tim
Yesterday we wrapped up our double-header weekend with Lorena and Tim’s daytime wedding at the gorgeous Vizcaya Pavilion in Sacramento. Lorena’s day started out great as she discovered that brides don’t have to pay for their Starbucks coffee on their wedding day! And it continued to get even better as her “pretty in pink” wedding materialized into everything she and Tim hoped it would be. The happy couple is headed to Maui for their honeymoon and we are now tasked with giving them a keepsake they will treasure forever! In the meantime, here’s a look at their ceremony:
No. 230 – Kiersti and Chris
Yesterday we spent the day with Kiersti and Chris at the Vizcaya Pavilion and Mansion in Sacramento as they tied the knot after five long years of waiting! The weather was perfect and the Vizcaya provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s elegant wedding. The bride’s Tiffany blue color scheme went perfectly with the Pavilion’s natural lighting. Plus the bride and groom didn’t look to shabby themselves! We had a lot of fun getting to know their family and can’t wait to deliver their video to them. For the time being, here’s a recap of their ceremony and their heartfelt vow exchange. We just loved the enthusiasm Chris showed right after Kiersti finished with her vows. It was priceless!
